With GITEX Africa 2025 set to take place from April 14-16 in Marrakech, Morocco, discussions are intensifying around Africa’s digital future. Trixie LohMirmand, Executive Vice President of the Dubai World Trade Centre and KAOUN International, met with Amal El Fallah-Seghrouchni, Morocco’s Minister of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, to explore ways to strengthen Morocco’s digital ecosystem and drive innovation across Africa.

LohMirmand described the meeting, held on February 28, as a “motivating pointed exchange tinged with an openness to strive for more impactful outcomes for all stakeholders and participants at large.” The event, she noted, will welcome Morocco’s new leadership’s drive to shape a competitive yet collaborative, AI-powered future.

As Africa’s largest technology and startup show, GITEX Africa 2025 promises to be a powerful platform showcasing the continent’s technological advancements, infrastructure development, and entrepreneurial talent.
