Addressing Technological Challenges in Education

Mrs Nkechi Egerton-Idehen emphasized the challenges faced by educational institutions and governmental bodies in optimizing technological efficiency. Key among these challenges is the lack of affordable internet connectivity, hindering the effective integration of technology into the education system. Mrs Egerton-Idehen highlighted the current state of ICT laboratories in schools, stating, “While schools and governments are making efforts to advance technology integration into education by furnishing some ICT laboratories with computers, a second-class problem prevents using most of these devices in schools.”
