The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has recently joined forces with The GAGE Company to bring forth the Co-Create Africa International Tech Expo, which will now be titled ‘NITDA-Co-Create West Africa Tech Week.’ 

This event, hosted by The GAGE Company, serves as a 2-day technology exhibition that anticipates over 10,000 visitors and 150 exhibitors from across the globe. The expo is set to showcase the latest tech solutions and innovative startups both locally and internationally, with a particular focus on fostering collaboration and driving growth in the tech ecosystem.

NITDA, as a vital player in Nigeria’s digital transformation, is fully committed to implementing the National Digital Economy Policy for a digitally empowered nation. The agency’s mandate involves developing a comprehensive framework for planning, research, standardization, application, and regulation of Information Technology practices in Nigeria.

To accomplish this vision, NITDA has strategically outlined seven key priority areas within its 2021-2024 Strategic Road Map and Action Plan. These areas include Developmental Regulation, Digital Literacy and Skills, Digital Transformation, Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Emerging Technologies, Cybersecurity, and Promotion of Indigenous Content.
