OPay, a renowned financial service provider in Nigeria, presented ₦12 million in scholarships to 40 honourable students at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria in Kaduna state.
Opay empowers ABU Zaria students
Opay announced on Wednesday that each student will receive N300,000, relieving financial burden and encouraging academic success.

According to the announcement, the scholarship award ceremony, which took place at the office of the Vice Chancellor of ABU, is a significant milestone for both OPay and the students. OPay’s Managing Director, Dauda Gotring, a proud ABU alumnus, discussed what it means to support students at his alma mater.

ABU’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof Kabiru Bala, thanked Opay management for the scholarships, underscoring their significant impact on the students’ lives.
