On Thursday, Oracle announced a groundbreaking partnership with Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite internet service, to enhance global broadband access for its Enterprise Communications Platform (ECP).
This collaboration aims to deliver high-speed and secure communications to Oracle’s extensive portfolio of applications, enabling users to connect from even the most remote regions.

Starlink powers Oracle ECP for worldwide connectivity
Oracle’s integration of Starlink’s satellite connectivity into its ECP will allow customers to leverage high-speed communications from almost anywhere, including over 100 countries and territories. This move is particularly impactful in healthcare, construction, and public safety industries, where real-time connectivity is essential for mission-critical operations.
As Jason Fritch, SpaceX’s Vice President of Starlink Enterprise Sales, noted, “Starlink provides reliable high-speed connectivity for those in areas where it has been historically difficult due to lack of infrastructure or natural obstacles”.

The partnership between Oracle and Starlink is poised to transform various sectors by providing real-time video and audio streaming capabilities.
For instance, hospital systems can use this integration to reliably access Oracle’s clinical applications, even in rural areas. Similarly, public safety agencies can leverage this connectivity to keep first responders connected and safe during emergencies.
