Orange Egypt has partnered with Enjaz Payment Services, one of the biggest fintech firms in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, to enhance remittance inflows from Saudi Arabia to Egypt.

Through this collaboration announced on Monday, clients can now easily transfer money from Saudi Arabia to Egypt using the Orange Cash wallet.

Benefits of Enjaz-Orange’s partnership to Egyptians

This partnership offers several advantages. Senders transferring money to Orange Cash wallets in Egypt via Enjaz branches or its online platform are exempt from international transfer fees. Following a successful transfer through Orange Cash, recipients will receive EGP 500 in cashback.

Enjaz combines a robust physical presence with cutting-edge digital services to operate throughout the Kingdom through a vast network of over 140 branches.

The partnership is a component of Orange Cash’s ongoing international remittance service expansion, which currently includes services from Jordan, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Oman.

The simplification and security of cross-border money transfers demonstrate Orange’s leadership in digital financial innovation and its critical contribution to Egypt’s national financial inclusion and digital transformation strategy.

Orange Cash’s international remittance service offers a digital, safe, and immediate experience. Funds are delivered straight to the customer’s wallet without needing to visit branches or take further action. After receiving the money, customers can use the remaining amount for cash withdrawals, bill settlements, purchases, and payments.

Orange Egypt expresses enthusiasm

Ahmed El Abd, Chief Consumer Business Officer at Orange Egypt, expressed his delight at the collaboration, stating, “We’re proud to partner with Enjaz, a company with deep expertise in the remittance sector across the Middle East, alongside Orange Cash, which serves millions of customers in Egypt.”

He continued, “This partnership enhances the user experience, encourages the adoption of digital channels, and expands our international remittance services to support the state’s financial inclusion goals.

He added, “It also provides our customers a safe, fast, and convenient way to receive international transfers. We believe working with strategic partners is key to delivering innovative solutions that add value and improve daily life.”

Enjaz expresses optimism

Bassam Al-Eidi, CEO of Enjaz Payment Services, commented, “This partnership with Orange Egypt is a pivotal step toward strengthening our digital presence and delivering faster, more secure money transfers between Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

He emphasised, “We value Orange Egypt as a strong partner with a broad customer base, which complements our extensive network of 140+ branches and more than 2 million mobile app users.

Through this collaboration, we are facilitating remittances and creating tangible value that supports financial inclusion across the region.

“This partnership is a practical embodiment of our belief in the power of strategic alliances. It opens new horizons for international cooperation and lays the foundation for broader collaboration that can reshape the global remittance landscape,” he concluded.
