From a startup to one of the nation’s most reputable and well-established providers of digital services, Paratus Zambia commemorates fifteen years of bringing people together and advancing society.

This significant milestone was made known by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) on Monday.

Paratus, which was founded in 2010 with the goal of offering dependable, fast enterprise internet, has grown to become a significant participant in Zambia’s digital economy.

With the support of consistent infrastructure investment, local, knowledgeable technical assistance, and a strong dedication to quality and dependability, it currently provides enterprise-grade connectivity, cloud, data centre, and satellite services across the country.

Paratus Zambia blends local investment with global experience

Paratus Zambia, a prominent pan-African network services provider and member of the Paratus Group, blends substantial local investment with international experience.

According to Marius Van Vuuren, Paratus Zambia’s country manager, “Fifteen years ago, we set out with one clear mission: to give Zambians access to fast, reliable, quality internet. Today, we are proud to play a central role in the country’s digital transformation. Our evolution from a focused ISP to a full-scale digital services provider reflects the trust our customers have placed in us and the work our team has done to earn it.”

Paratus’ role in Zambia’s digital transformation

Over the last ten and a half years, Paratus Zambia has made significant infrastructural investments and provided innovations that propel digital transformation.

Among these is the opening of a brand-new, ISO-certified Tier 3 data centre in Lusaka that was created specifically to offer top-notch co-location services, allowing companies to host their vital IT infrastructure off-site and without risk.

Additionally, Paratus offers an expanding range of locally hosted cloud services from this facility. Along with the ongoing development of its domestic and international fibre and microwave networks, this investment helps businesses run more effectively and guarantees dependable connectivity for people all over the nation.

Through its committed technical support staff, which is available around the clock, Paratus Zambia now serves an expanding clientele of large corporations, SMEs, and residential users.

To provide dependable satellite connectivity, Paratus also collaborates with international LEO (low earth orbit) satellite providers, guaranteeing access even in the most isolated regions of the globe.

“The next chapter for us is all about reaching more people all over Zambia, by driving customer value and transforming the digital landscape in Zambia. After 15 years, this isn’t just a celebration of how far we’ve come. It’s a renewed promise to the people of Zambia on our motto “Always Prepared” and delivering quality solutions, service and support to all our customers equally,” Van Vuuren explains.

Paratus Zambia is committed to expanding its influence as well as its network in the future.
