Production on The Witcher 4 will begin in full swoop

Despite CD Projekt RED’s lack of an official handle on developing the fourth instalment of the Witcher series, evidence suggests that total production is near. The next part of The Witcher is on the way, and work on it will move to the developmental stage as early as now.

For many years, people were just wondering and waiting for CD Projekt Red to create more of this rather popular series, and now they have stated that the work is immense.

The newest instalment of the Witcher game will be powered by Unreal Engine 5

One of the most exciting parts of this new entry is using Unreal Engine 5, a significant leap forward from using the RED engine used in the third instalment of The Witcher series. This change could spell out advances in the graphical interface but could also introduce enhancements in the game’s creation, including the possibility of shortening the duration of the game’s release.

As a connoisseur of the Witcher series, nothing is off limits, and anything can be turned into clickbait, a rather good reminder that the fourth wall was indeed breached.

Although the small letters are rare, total production gives the fans more insights into the game’s setting, characters, and narration. As a serious fan of the Witcher series, I am waiting to see how CD Projekt Red will build the lore of the Witcher series from previous games. Considering the previous projects, I will surely get astonishing work with The Witcher 4.

The teaser image also showed a medallion of a lynx, and while this is a brand new Witcher school not mentioned previously in the books, games, comics, or wherever else, Ciri wore a School of the Cat medallion in the books and its philosophy matches her nimble fighting style.

CD Projekt is busy outside Polaris. It’s currently setting up a new studio in the U.S. to develop a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel codenamed Orion. Even in The Witcher universe, one of its subsidiary studios is developing a multiplayer game, and partner studio Fool’s Theory is working on a remake of the original game.
