The artist, who appeared to be overwhelmed by the accolade, expressed his gratitude to his fans and supporters all around the world. He also thanked Spotify for creating a platform that enables musicians to connect with a large audience.

Who is Rema?

Divine Ikubor was born on May 1, 2000, in Benin City, Edo, Nigeria. He goes by the stage name Rema and is a rapper, singer, and songwriter from Nigeria. When “Dumebi” came out in 2019, it brought him his first attention. Rema is signed to Jonzing World Records, owned by D’Prince and used to work with Mavin Records. 

His first song, “Iron Man,” came out in 2019 and quickly became a big hit online. So many people liked the song that Mavin Records signed him later that same year. In the same year, he put out the EP “Rema,” which had the hit song “Dumebi.”

He has won three awards at the 16th HEADIES, which were held again in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States. He is a talented singer who has continued to rule the records on the Top chart singles.

The website Clacified says that his net value is about $1 million as of 2023.
