Rwazi closes $12 million Series A to boost consumer intelligence solutions

Rwazi announced on Wednesday that it secured $12 million in Series A funding to enhance its AI-powered consumer insights and intelligence platform.

Bonfire Ventures led the round, which also involved Santa Barbara Ventures, Newfund, and Alumni Ventures.

Real-time consumer insight at scale

Rwazi’s platform captures consumer behaviour through zero-party data information voluntarily shared by consumers in real time within their regular routines.

This is a significant breakthrough compared to traditional surveys, panels, or outdated government statistics, which are often incomplete or inaccurate.

According to Co-Founder and CEO Joseph Rutakangwa, “Gut calls are expensive, and in today’s market, they’re dangerous. This raise lets us put a real-time AI copilot in the hands of every decision-maker.”

This AI copilot continuously analyses billions of behavioural signals across demographics, markets, and products, helping business teams detect early shifts, simulate potential outcomes, and act quickly with confidence.

Unlike other AI tools that rely on scraped or modelled data, Rwazi’s system uses direct and voluntarily shared consumer data, which sharpens its market predictions while reducing risks in decision-making.

Driving business growth with Intelligent decisions

Rwazi empowers strategic decisions across marketing, product development, and operations.

The AI enables companies to grow market share by spotting opportunities ahead of competitors, cut customer acquisition costs by understanding consumer preferences, and boost loyalty by aligning products and pricing with real demand.

Notable clients using Rwazi’s platform include Coca-Cola, Pampers, Visa, and Nestle.

The latest funding will accelerate the expansion of Rwazi’s global data infrastructure, deepen its simulation capabilities, and enhance the AI copilot’s ability to recommend next best moves across company functions.

Rutakangwa emphasised the urgency of adopting such technology: “Teams that win are those with systems that see early and act fast, not those relying on instinct.”

As economic volatility increases, Rwazi’s AI-driven intelligence aims to transform how companies understand their consumers and make business decisions in real time.
