In order to showcase its Business-to-Business (B2B) products at The Big 5 Building and Construction Expo, Samsung Electronics formed a partnership with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).

The expo took place in Nairobi from Wednesday, November 08, 2023, through Friday, November 10, 2023, and will last for a total of three days. It functions as a marketplace for cutting-edge building technology, products, and services, and as a result, it will encourage innovation and the adoption of best practices in the ever-evolving industry of global construction

This relationship, according to Samsung, demonstrates how the company is committed to integrating smart business solutions into building processes. It also demonstrates how Samsung’s B2B technologies can dramatically improve productivity, safety, and project management within the construction industry.

As a result of this move, Samsung’s technologies, including as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and smart building platforms, will be adapted expressly to meet the requirements of construction companies. This will be done with the intention of improving operational efficiency, on-site safety, and project management.

Mr Samuel Odhiambo, Head of Consumer Electronics, Samsung Electronics East Africa remarked: “Our mission is to empower businesses with technology that’s not just advanced but also resilient and adaptable to their specific demands.”

“Our partnership with KOTRA at The Big 5 Construction Expo is a step towards bringing this mission to life,” he adds.

Samsung has said that it will showcase its most recent inventions, each of which has been designed with the modern customer in mind. At the event, visitors will have the opportunity to see the 2023 Samsung NEO QLED as well as the Samsung Flip Interactive Display, both of which are likely to be of great interest to construction industry professionals.
