Samsung Electronics has unveiled its most recent invention, the Samsung Vision AI TV. This next-generation television positions itself as more than an entertainment screen by fusing artificial intelligence with privacy-first features.

According to the company, the Vision AI TV will protect user data with its Samsung Knox security technology while acting as a centre for smart living, content interaction, and home integration.

Samsung’s vision for home technology

Tae Sun Lee, the CEO of Samsung Electronics West Africa, stated that the new television reflects the company’s vision for home technology.

“With Vision AI, we’re not just offering a TV; we’re introducing a smarter, more connected way to live, building on almost two decades of global leadership,” he told journalists at the unveiling in Lagos at the weekend.

Samsung has dominated the global television market for 19 years, and this launch further solidifies its position as the industry leader.

Samsung’s Vision AI TV features

The Vision AI TV offers several features to improve television usability and interactivity. These include seven years of operating system updates to keep the device current over time, the ability to search for information instantly based on what is displayed on the screen, and the ability to control connected devices with SmartThings easily.

According to Samsung, the TV combines lifestyle apps with entertainment, providing access to digital art, live translations, and improved gaming while upholding stringent data security guidelines.

According to the Head of Marketing & Communications at Samsung Electronics West Africa, Oge Maduagwu, “These new TVs are intelligent lifestyle hubs, as they leverage Vision AI to deliver personalised, contextual, and seamless experiences that redefine television. Combining TV, AI art, live translations, and sleek designs to set our TVs miles ahead of others.”

Samsung’s 2025 TV cutting-edge lineup offers a viewing experience

Ajay David, Head of Consumer Electronics at Samsung West Africa, asserted that with advancements in OLED, Neo QLED, QLED, and lifestyle models, Samsung’s 2025 TV lineup offers its most cutting-edge viewing experience.

He said, “This year, we’ve introduced glare-free OLED and expanded anti-glare technology to more Neo QLED models, boosted brightness by up to 30 per cent, and added high refresh rates up to 240 Hz for ultra-smooth motion. Our new Vision AI enhances picture and sound and even integrates smart home features like pet and family care monitoring.”

He added, “We’ve launched premium additions such as Neo QLED Mini-LED with wireless One Connect, plus Nigeria’s first 100-inch Neo QLED. From breathtaking picture quality to intelligent home integration, 2025 Samsung TVs are designed to deliver unmatched clarity, style, and connectivity.”

Samsung’s commitment to viewing habits

He reaffirmed Samsung’s dedication to influencing tomorrow’s viewing habits with innovations meant to uplift, connect, and delight homes everywhere.

Samsung TVs have been the world’s top TV brand for 19 years because consumers have trusted the brand to deliver high-quality, cost-effective products.
