Samsung S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max are smartphone innovation and technology icons. Both smartphones have cutting-edge features and unmatched performance. This comparison highlights the differences between these flagship models to help you choose the best one.

With an almost bezel-less display and gently curved edge, the Samsung S24 Ultra is sleek and futuristic. A sturdy aluminium frame with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and rear protects it from drops and scratches. The device’s sophisticated colours appeal to customers who value aesthetics and functionality.

Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max has a flat-edged stainless steel frame and Ceramic Shield top cover. Premium feels and grip comes from the textured matte glass on the rear. Luxury and precision are evident in the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s Graphite, Gold, Silver, and new deep blue finishes.

Samsung S24 Ultra vs iPhone 15 Pro Max: Display, performance, Camera

Samsung’s 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is stunning. Its QHD+ (3200 x 1440 pixels) resolution and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate deliver outstanding clarity, bright colours, and buttery-smooth scrolling.

HDR10+ on the S24 Ultra’s display makes films and games immersive. iPhone 15 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology and 2778 x 1284 pixels.

HDR10 and adaptive 120Hz refresh rate deliver a crisp, snappy, and visually rich experience. True Tone and P3 wide colour gamut improve colour accuracy and viewing comfort.

The S24 Ultra performs well with the latest Exynos 2400 (global) or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (US and China) processor. Multitasking and heavy apps work smoothly with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

Samsung’s One UI 5.0, based on Android 14, offers a convenient interface and significant customisation. However, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has Apple’s A17 Bionic technology with a 6-core CPU, 6-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine.

This powerful CPU delivers fast performance and energy economy. With 1TB of storage, the iPhone 15 Pro Max tackles demanding activities well. iOS 17 adds features and improves the user experience, keeping Apple’s intuitive software reputation.

The S24 Ultra has a 200MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide, 10MP periscope telephoto (10x optical zoom), and 10MP telephoto (3x optical zoom) quad-camera configuration.

This setup zooms well in varied lighting conditions. High-resolution selfies and video calls are possible with the 40MP front camera. Triple-camera system on iPhone 15 Pro Max: 48MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide, and 12MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.

Computational photography on the iPhone produces natural-looking photographs with excellent dynamic range and detail. Face ID and cinematic mode are available on the 12MP front camera.

Battery Life and charging (Samsung S24 Ultra Vs iPhone 15 Pro Max)

The S24 Ultra’s 5,000mAh battery allows for a full day of intensive use. It offers 45W rapid, 15W wireless, and reverse wireless charging. Samsung’s adaptive power-saving modes optimise battery life by usage.

Even though the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a lower battery, Apple optimises it to last all day. It supports 15W MagSafe wireless and 30W wired charging. Battery management is improved by the iPhone’s energy-efficient A17 chip and iOS updates.

Other unique Features (Samsung S24 Ultra Vs iPhone 15 Pro Max)

S Pen support with improved latency for note-taking and creative tasks, DeX mode for a desktop-like experience connected to a monitor, and split-screen and pop-up view optimise multitasking on the Samsung S24 Ultra. The iPhone 15 Pro Max has Face ID for secure and convenient identification, extensive Apple ecosystem connectivity (Mac, iPad, Apple Watch), and A17 Bionic chip-powered AR features.

Choosing between the Samsung S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max comes from personal preference and ecosystem commitment. With its configurable camera arrangement, S Pen capabilities, and gorgeous display, the S24 Ultra is excellent for productivity and creativity.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max’s tremendous performance, flawless Apple integration, and excellent build quality set it apart. Both smartphones are the pinnacle of smartphone technology, with unique capabilities for different user demands. Whether you choose Samsung or Apple, the S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max offer unmatched smartphone experiences.
