Kenya, notably Nairobi, is a tech hotspot in East and Central Africa due to its economic strength and rapid technology breakthroughs. Given the region’s startup scene, Servercore’s services are ideal.

Mobile-Driven Innovation

GeoPoll reports that Kenya’s mobile penetration exceeded its population by 10% in June 2020. Kenya leads in mobile money services and digital transformation, and fintech and Internet banking have grown tremendously.

Rise of IT:

In Africa’s top seven, Kenya’s IT sector is rising rapidly, with 35% internet penetration. Due to a trained workforce, rising IT demands from enterprises and the government, and a favourable business climate, the industry boosts the economy and attracts foreign investment.

IT infrastructure suppliers in Kenya are scarce. Hence, enterprises rely on worldwide providers. For Kenya’s 2019 data storage laws, which need local solutions, Servercore steps in. For government and private sector local cloud services, the Kenya National Digital Masterplan 2022-2032 supports this strategy.

Victoria Kleinbort, Servercore’s Country Manager for Kenya, notes Kenya’s growing internet penetration, tech-savvy populace, and supporting government policies as IT promise. Servercore’s launch is appropriate in Kenya, East Africa’s gateway and commercial hub.

Dependable Infrastructure: Servercore guarantees consistent performance and flexibility with its auto-scaling dedicated and cloud servers.

PaaS Solution Ecosystem: The organisation manages cloud databases and Kubernetes for regional IT infrastructure availability.

Localized Consultation & Support: Servercore guarantees continuous digital services for its clients through a partnership with iColo, a Tier III data centre in Nairobi, and a local office offering 24/7 technical support.

Optimised Costs and Control: The control panel permits demand-based resource modification and Kenyan shilling payments, regardless of exchange rate fluctuations.

Data Security and Certified Security Standards: Load balancing, backups, essential DDoS protection, ISO standards, and PCI DSS compliance assure data security and business continuity.

Josephine Kabura, Business Development Manager for Kenya at Servercore, emphasizes the company’s role in empowering Kenyan and African enterprises to realize their digital ambitions. With its affordable pricing, robust infrastructure, and comprehensive solutions, Servercore is positioned as a reliable cloud partner for local businesses.
