Showmax is becoming Africa’s first streaming service (SVOD) to livestream a homegrown concert. 

On January 18, 2025, fans in 44 African countries can watch Grammy-winning amapiano superstar Tyla perform live from the SunBet Arena, Pretoria, exclusively on Showmax.com. This event marks the first time an African female artiste’s concert is streamed live on the platform.

Tyla’s historic homecoming concert on Showmax

Tyla, the youngest African Grammy winner, has captivated audiences with her chart-topping hits and dynamic performances. She will showcase tracks from her debut album TYLA, which has amassed more than 1.6 billion streams, alongside fan favourites and possibly new music.
