Soueast Motor launches in Morocco with M-AUTOMOTIV as sole distributor

Chinese carmaker Soueast Motor officially entered the Moroccan automotive market by appointing M-AUTOMOTIV as its sole distributor.

The move signals Southeast’s push to expand internationally and aligns with Morocco’s goal of attracting more diverse and tech-driven mobility solutions.

Unveiled during a press briefing in Casablanca, the deal brings one of China’s fastest-growing automakers into a market known for its appetite for affordable innovation and sustainable mobility options.

The exclusive partnership strengthens M-AUTOMOTIV’s growing presence in Morocco’s automotive sector.

Southeast introduces hybrid and tech-savvy SUVs to Moroccan buyers

To mark its debut, Soueast Motor is introducing three SUV models designed to appeal to various segments of the Moroccan consumer base. Leading the launch is the S06, a compact plug-in hybrid that offers a driving range of up to 1,300 km and packs a punch with 360 horsepower.

The mid-size S07, a seven-seater tailored for families, comes equipped with a 197-horsepower internal combustion engine, Level 2 driver assistance systems, and a suite of digital connectivity features.

For buyers seeking a more luxurious driving experience, the S09 model offers 254 horsepower and premium features that prioritise comfort and technology.

These vehicles are expected to compete with global rivals by combining performance, affordability, and cutting-edge innovation.

A standout feature across all models is the brand’s industry-leading warranty, which offers coverage for ten years or one million kilometres—unprecedented in the Moroccan market.

M-AUTOMOTIV expands footprint with strategic alliance

For M-Automotiv, this partnership marks a significant step toward market leadership. In under two years, the company has opened 16 sales points across Morocco and now boasts a portfolio that spans new and used cars as well as after-sales services.

The addition of Soueast enhances its offering at a time when Moroccan consumers are demanding smarter, greener, and more durable mobility options.

This collaboration also reflects Morocco’s growing importance as a gateway to African and European markets. As the country develops its automotive infrastructure and EV readiness, strategic partnerships like this are poised to shape the future of transportation in the region.

With Soueast’s ambitious product range and M-AUTOMOTIV’s strong local network, Moroccan consumers now have access to a new wave of hybrid and fuel-efficient vehicles built for both daily use and long-distance comfort.
