Tano Digital Solutions, a pan-African technology services company, was named the Top Cloud Performance Award winner at the SAP Africa Partner Summit 2025. 

The SAP Africa Partner Awards 2025 honoured excellence in six categories, particularly cloud-related capabilities, implementations, and innovations. The award ceremony took place on Friday.

The SAP Africa Partner Summit 2025 brought together key players in the African technology ecosystem to explore and celebrate innovation in cloud solutions. The summit highlighted the increasing importance of cloud technologies in driving digital transformation across the continent.

Discussions centred on leveraging cloud capabilities to address specific challenges and opportunities within the African market. 

The event provided a platform for partners to connect, share insights, and learn about the latest SAP offerings designed to empower regional businesses. Focus areas included AI, BTP, and SAP Business One.

This achievement reflects Tano Digital Solutions’ growing significance in the African tech sector and its commitment to providing innovative cloud solutions. 

Tano Digital Solutions has deepened its expertise in SAP innovations, mainly focusing on the transformative Jouel AI solution. Over two days, the team explored new advancements to enhance client services. 

The company also earned recognition for its achievements, receiving the Top Cloud Performance Award for 2024. This milestone underscores Tano Digital Solutions’ commitment to driving digital transformation through cutting-edge cloud and AI technologies.

Tano Digital Solutions was founded in South Africa in 2013 and now operates in Botswana, Mozambique, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. With operations in six African countries, the company provides services in digital transformation, cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, and DevOps. 

Tano Digital Solutions has a diversified client base encompassing the public sector, retail, mining, banking, utilities, agricultural, and wholesale distribution. 

In Mozambique, Tano Digital Solutions was also awarded the Oracle FY20 Partner of the Year—Hardware/License Sell by Oracle for a consistent display of expertise and the SAP Rookie of the Year award for 2020 (Africa).

Nazia Pillay, head of the partner ecosystem at SAP Middle East and Africa (MEA), stated that the awards took place when Africa’s business environment was reshaped by the growing adoption of powerful cloud technologies and the disruptive impact of artificial intelligence.

Pillay added, “As public and private sector enterprises across the continent build new capabilities to meet changing customer demands and eliminate efficiency and uncertainty, the support of experienced, insightful, and value-driven technology and implementation partners will be crucial to their success”.
