Tek Experts and Cytek Security, two of the world’s foremost providers of technical talent solutions, have just opened a state-of-the-art Security Operations Centre (SOC) in Lagos, Nigeria.

The centre will provide advanced cybersecurity services to companies all over the world and in all kinds of industries.

Businesses in the area and beyond can rest assured that the SOC, as a centralised command centre, is always protecting them from cyber threats and taking preventative measures. Comprehensive security capabilities, such as threat detection, incident response, and threat intelligence, are made possible by Microsoft’s Sentinel platform, an industry-leading cybersecurity centre that is powered by artificial intelligence.

Tek Experts Nigeria’s Country Director, Olugbolahan Olusanya, spoke at the Center’s inauguration in Lagos, stating that the SOC’s creation is a watershed moment that demonstrates their dedication to developing the tech industries in Nigeria and West Africa.

He announced that Tek Expert is happy to broaden its offerings to include state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions and services, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to investing in and advancing the Nigerian technology industry. This will help keep their data and operations safe from the constantly changing cyber threats.

Cybersecurity experts run the show out of the Security Operations Centre, where they provide a full range of state-of-the-art solutions, such as 24/7 protection from cyberattacks and proactive containment via client-developed response plans.

According to Anat Garty, Cytek’s Chief Cybersecurity Architect, the company’s cybersecurity team always monitors new threats and develops new defences to keep clients safe. Financial institutions, healthcare organisations, retailers, and telecommunications companies are just a few examples of the many different types of businesses that benefit from the SOC’s proactive cybersecurity measures. The clients are able to confidently and securely navigate today’s digital landscape.

In Lagos, inside the Tek Experts building on Victoria Island, is the Security Operations Centre, which offers round-the-clock security and uninterrupted power support with a backup of up to twenty days. Based on its global Managed Security Service Centres network, Cytek provides clients with round-the-clock, follow-the-sun cybersecurity coverage through their first SOC in Africa, located in Lagos.

The operations of Cytek

Cytek Security employs some of the world’s most highly skilled cyber professionals to offer cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to businesses and government agencies. National CERT, secure data, sectorial SOCs, and end-to-end cyber solutions for different industries are just a few examples of the national-level and highly classified cyber defence projects that the Cytek team has successfully established and managed.

Organisations and governments can boost their cybersecurity posture and effectively fight new and existing cyber threats with Cytek’s offerings, which include cybersecurity advisory and implementation, managed security services, and the building of cyber capability programmes.
