The 2024 International Finance Awards on Saturday named Telecom Egypt the “Best Investor Relations – Telecom Company” at a ceremony which was held at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai.
This noteworthy award highlights Telecom Egypt’s steadfast dedication to openness, corporate governance, and proactive engagement with investors, shareholders, and the larger financial community, the IFA said.

Now in its 12th year, the International Finance Awards honour companies that distinguish themselves by innovation, leadership, and a relentless dedication to best practices.
This year’s event provided a forum to recognise exceptional accomplishments in a range of fields by bringing together global industry leaders, innovators, and significant stakeholders.
Since its launch in 2013, the International Finance Awards have developed into a widely accepted standard for excellence, showcasing businesses that are leaders in their fields in terms of performance, innovation, and leadership.
Selection process
International Finance Magazine’s Internal Evaluation Team conducts the first examination of the awards process, which is followed by a comprehensive assessment by an External Evaluation Agency.
Based on factors like prior performance, expansion, strategic accomplishments, creativity, communication techniques, and client endorsements, nominations are thoroughly evaluated.

Wael Hanafy, Chief Financial Officer at Telecom Egypt, stated the team was “extremely proud to receive” the award.
