Calling All Young Innovators

Young innovators, aged between 18 and 35, are warmly invited to participate in the Innovators Challenge by showcasing their original technology-driven ideas and products. To seize this opportunity and embark on a journey of technological innovation, visit www.ttswg-imc.com/apply. Submissions should include a 90-second video pitch of your innovation, accompanied by responses to specific questions. Entries are open from September 11th to October 16th.

From the pool of entries, 20 finalists will earn an invitation to the Innovators Boot Camp. Here, they will receive invaluable guidance, mentorship, and feedback from experts renowned in the technology and telecommunications industry. Following the boot camp, standout participants will have the chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges at the Innovators Conference, competing for a substantial cash prize of N2,000,000, N1,000,000, and N500,000 for the winner, first runner-up, and second runner-up, respectively.

The finalists will not only benefit from mentorship and prizes but will also have the privilege of showcasing their groundbreaking innovations at the grand event. They will pitch their innovations to venture capitalists and investors and network with professionals and industry experts from across Nigeria and abroad.

Empowering Nigeria’s Technology Talent

Bekeme Olowola, Lead Consultant at the TTSWG Secretariat, emphasized the importance of nurturing tech talent in Nigeria, stating, “Nigeria is rich in talent that needs more support, encouragement, and development to flourish and become major contributors to the nation’s economic growth. However, the country has often celebrated ideas that have no significant impact on national development. The IMC is designed to celebrate and empower young creatives in the technology space who can make a positive difference.”

For all young individuals in this age group from across Nigeria, the call to action is clear: apply at www.ttswg-imc.com and follow @ttswg on all social media channels for additional information.
