Twitter, has added a feature that lets verified users with paid accounts hide their checkmarks. Elon Musk’s company set up the paid proof for Twitter Blue last year.

Twitter Blue users could use a number of paid services that were made to make the site more engaging. Trust in social media networks has been built on confirmed accounts.

But X has taken a different approach by giving its paid users control over how they appear on the internet. The company wants to give users a more personalised experience, so this move makes sense.

Users of this service can now hide their verification check marks so they can enjoy the benefits of their registration without drawing attention to themselves. X said that in some cases, the tick might still be visible, but he didn’t say how.

The company’s blog says that people who have signed up can hide their tick. The checkmark will disappear from your biography and posts. Some features and the checkmark may still show that a subscription is still valid. Some features may be turned off by hidden checkmarks. This will get better as time goes on.

This is not strange because app reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi said in March that Twitter is working on a feature to hide check marks with ID verification. Some users aren’t sure if this meets the privacy needs of Twitter Blue members.

Users can use this new verification status control in the “Profile customization” part of their account settings. By letting paying users hide their verification checkmarks, X may have set a pattern for other social networking platforms to add similar user-focused features.

This shows that X is a forward-thinking player in the industry and that it wants to give customers the freedom to customize their online appearance.

Utilizing X’s Twitter Blue Subscribers

It used to be impossible to identify the difference between famous people’s initial verified Twitter accounts and those that paid to obtain them legally.

In April, Twitter discontinued the old verification badges. However, verification credentials for high-profile users were reinstated, regardless of payment.

Since then, the corporation has promoted Blue by adding features. The maximum video duration was increased to 3 hours, the number of ads on users’ timelines decreased, and recently, subscribers may share ad income.

To encourage more platform posting and sharing, these improvements were made.
