Twitter has added two new video features to improve how people watch videos on the site.

These new features are the outcome of the growing popularity that videos are obtaining across various social media platforms. The company claims that videos make up a significant portion of public conversation and are one of the most interesting methods for individuals to express themselves through the medium of the internet. In point of fact, “videos that are shared on Twitter receive billions of combined views every year” (yes, that’s a capital B for billions). Twitter is a website that combines microblogging and social networking.

An immersive, easy-to-understand viewing experience

Twitter has changed its immersive media viewer so that you can now expand videos to full screen with just one click. Previously, this was not possible. To make it work, you just need to tap or click on a video within the Twitter app.

When the video has been played in full-screen mode, it is much simpler to find further videos to watch. Simply scroll up to get started looking at more interesting video content. Simply click the back arrow in the top left corner of the viewer to quit the viewer and return to the tweet it was originally connected to.

The Explore tab on Twitter has also been modernized.

You may now quickly find other movies that you enjoy, in addition to tweets and trends that may be of interest to you, due to the newly implemented video carousel. Simply click on the Explore tab to be taken to some of the most widely watched videos that are being discussed on

Availability

People who use Twitter on iOS or Android, speak English, and live in certain countries can use the video carousel feature right now.

After getting a lot of requests, Twitter finally made the “edit tweet” feature testable at the start of the previous month.

About Twitter

Twitter, Inc. is a communications firm that was founded in the United States and has its headquarters in San Francisco, California. Twitter, a service that combines microblogging with social networking, is owned and operated by a business. Previously, it was in charge of running the short-video app Vine as well as the live streaming service Periscope.

Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams came up with the idea for Twitter in March of 2006, and it was introduced to the public in July of that same year. By the year 2012, there were more than 100 million users who contributed 340 million tweets each day, and the service processed an average of 1.6 billion search queries per day. In November 2013, the company began trading publicly. At the beginning of 2019, Twitter had more than 330 million users who were actively using the platform on a monthly basis.
