GCIP Fosters Innovation to create a thriving funding economy

Besides providing funding for innovative clean technologies, the Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP) cultivates a robust entrepreneurship ecosystem.

By doing this, it fosters an atmosphere that allows SMEs and start-ups to flourish, innovate, and increase the impact of their work. GCIP encourages partnerships between public and private sector players, including government agencies, investors, business executives, and academic institutions.

It also promotes mentorship, resource expertise access, and knowledge exchange and fosters an environment that values experimentation, risk-taking, and innovation.

Furthermore, GCIP encourages the creation of institutions and regulations that promote innovation and entrepreneurship.

GCIP guarantees the long-term sustainability of its interventions by fostering collaborations and bolstering entrepreneurship ecosystems, resulting in a long-lasting effect on the environment and the cleantech industry.

GCIP encourages Startups and SMEs at the Early stage

GCIP’s primary beneficiaries are early-stage start-ups and SMEs developing innovative clean technologies. These innovators tackle various sectors, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, and waste beneficiation.

GCIP also supports innovators in improving water efficiency, developing sustainable building materials, and creating green architecture solutions. Additionally, they support transportation innovators working on electric, hybrid, or alternative fuel vehicles and sustainable infrastructure.
