Valu, RoboGarden upskill Egypt’s youth through “Learn to Earn”

What if learning new tech skills could pay off literally? Valu and RoboGarden have just launched a groundbreaking partnership to make that idea a reality, rolling out the “Learn to Earn” program in Egypt.

Announced on July 21, 2025, this initiative breaks down tech barriers for the country’s youth, with special outreach to women and people with disabilities.

“Learn to Earn”: Training Egypt’s youth for the digital era

The “Learn to Earn” program offers hybrid digital upskilling designed to empower Egypt’s youth, blending online courses, live sessions, and in-person workshops.

Walid Hassouna, CEO of Valu, declared: “This collaboration reflects Valu’s deep-rooted commitment to education and to the community we serve. As we expand beyond the traditional buy-now-pay-later model, initiatives like ‘Learn to Earn’ allow us to channel our financial tools toward meaningful, long-term impact”.

Participants can build career-ready skills in web development, with certificates awarded to those who complete at least 75% of the content.

Engy El Sabban, CEO and Co-founder of RoboGarden Egypt, summarised the vision: “Through this initiative, we aim to extend RoboGarden’s reach to the underserved youth, women, and people with disabilities—empowering them with remote work opportunities and flexible career paths”.

Making Tech Training Affordable and Accessible

Valu’s introduction of flexible payment plans is unique about this partnership—breaking the affordability barrier for ambitious learners all over Egypt.

With practical support, like hosting five training cohorts at Valu Café and sponsoring 20 students, the “Learn to Earn” initiative ensures no one is priced out of opportunity.

Four participants from every cohort receive a 50% fee reduction, backing up the promise of equal access.

Lamise Negm, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of RoboGarden Egypt, expressed pride in the initiative’s impact: “It offers real opportunities for professional growth and economic empowerment by building solid bridges between education and employment.”

This bold team-up directly addresses the striking fact that 60% of Egyptian university graduates struggle to land jobs right after finishing school—a gap that “Learn to Earn” targets with practical, tech-forward skills training.

Valu and RoboGarden’s collaboration is more than just another tech course; it’s a strategic move that will propel Egypt’s youth, especially marginalised groups, toward genuine employment in today’s digital world.
