VerifyMe, a real-time startup platform for checking IDs, has introduced QoreID in Ghana. During their speeches at the opening event, QoreID representatives talked about how excited they were to be able to serve clients and customers in Ghana.

They gave a presentation that showed how the QoreID platform offers a variety of solutions, such as safe verification and authentication solutions that connect businesses to trusted identities, as well as key consumer insights, such as alternative credit scoring.

Also, they showed off their workflow and reporting features so that they could give their customers better information.

In 2020, VerifyMe will expand to Ghana after successfully completing a Series A round of funding. In the near future, the company plans to expand into other countries.

QoreID’s CEO talks about the impact and usefulness of the move

“QoreID is simply data infrastructure that you can rely on to build your business or products,” said Aguele. The Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements and authorizing credit, and other customer services take a lot of time and resources. This results in missed opportunities because their efforts to expand their company are slowed down. In addition to this, the danger of misuse by insiders is increased.

“With QoreID, businesses that want to drive growth within key markets and improve their overall customer experience can simply use our secure API hub or SDKs to meet their business or regulatory requirements,” says QoreID’s CEO. “QoreID’s API hub and SDKs are built on top of the latest cryptographic standards.”

Aguele also said that the company had finished getting ready to grow its business in Africa, starting with Ghana.

Esigie Aguele is both a co-founder of VerifyMe and serves as its Chief Executive Officer.

He stated, “Right from the very beginning, we have been driven by a clear vision to grow Africa’s trust economy.” Our success in Nigeria, the most competitive market on the African continent, has convinced us that it is time to expand our operations to include other markets within the subregion as well.

The choice to go in this direction was not made in a vacuum. Customers who have experienced the superiority of our service offerings have expressed the desire to have us support their businesses as they grow across the continent. This desire comes from businesses across the continent still getting closer together, and customers have told us they want us to help their businesses.

“Within the next few weeks, we will be launching QoreID in Ghana, and plans are also underway to open up more markets both within the continent and beyond,” he continued. “QoreID is a blockchain-based identity solution.” “We are moving beyond simply offering a single access point to certify Africans to build goods that are specific to their cultural traditions. We think this means profiling, which lets our customers take advantage of underserved groups like unbanked Nigerians, who are a powerful economic force in the informal economy but don’t have bank accounts.

StartupBlink named VerifyMe a Notable Ecosystem Champion in Nigeria. More than 55 per cent of commercial banks, 90 per cent of digital banks, 50 per cent of the top 15 insurance companies, and more than 50 of Nigeria’s most important companies use it.

QoreID provides deep verification processes that benefit everyone

Credit lenders in Nigeria based on this trust, QoreID offers more personalized and strong B2B solutions for ID verification, onboarding technology, and accurate financial profiling for approvals. This makes it easy for people to get access to services.

The available solutions include real-time identity verification, business verification, financial profiling, fraud prevention, digital addressing, authentication powered by artificial intelligence, and much more.

The company also offers services like Alternativ Credit Analytics, Verification of Income and Statements, Marketplace Data, Real-time Vehicle Verification, Verification of Assets, and Identity Authentication services like Liveness Check, Face Matching, and Identity Document Verification.

QoreID will primarily emphasise facilitating growth within the burgeoning digital and consumer credit economies. Banks, insurance companies, and other traditional financial services exist in these economies. There are also open banking, FinTech, digital, and e-commerce businesses.
