New distributors who sign up for the Vertiv Partner Programme in February or March 2024 will receive extra perks as part of an incentive program that Vertiv started in 2024. According to a company statement, the incentive covers South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, and Morocco.

“To show our appreciation for all the hard work that our new Vertiv Partner Programme and Vertiv Incentive Programme (VIP) members put in before March 31, 2024, we are offering them 100 bonus points as an incentive. You can exchange these points for a plethora of cool stuff, like appliances, wearable technology, and top-brand electronics for your home and your family.”

Upon signing up, VIP partners from South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, and Morocco will receive 100 bonus points. They will also continue to receive 100 points for every $100 in sales when they buy eligible Vertiv products from Authorised Distribution Partners. A personalized dashboard allows partners to see their earned bonus points, as well as the incentives that are available to them and how to redeem them.

“Building a strong network of local partners is a critical contributor to Vertiv’s growing success across Africa’, said Jacqui Gradwell, director of field marketing for Africa at Vertiv. She emphasized the importance of not only providing partners with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed but also rewarding those who contribute to the positive growth in the region.

New and prospective partners can get 100 VIP bonus points when they sign up for the Vertiv Partner Programme through the Vertiv Partner Portal by March 31st.

Vertiv enables the streamlining of data.

Vertiv unveiled a new tool for transforming and simplifying the configuration of prefabricated modular (PFM) data centers.

Accessible now in EMEA, the Vertiv™ Modular Designer Lite is an intuitive web app that simplifies the process of customising Vertiv™ SmartMod™ and Vertiv™ SmartMod™ Max solutions to user requirements.

A plethora of features are available in the Vertiv Modular Designer Lite to improve the user experience. A variety of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, can benefit from its solution to the problems associated with early planning, which is based on feedback from customers. Users without technical expertise can easily design 200 kW all-in-one data centers. The tool is user-friendly and doesn’t require any logins or software downloads. Users can quickly and easily design their modular data centers by selecting from a range of optional configurations.

Each user’s needs and location are taken into account when configuring data centres within the app. The software enables ideal personalisation and redundancy planning by taking into account factors like site location, weather data for accurate cooling equipment sizing, IT load requirements, rack specifications, battery backup considerations, and preferences for electrical topology.

Users can save configurations for quick modification, access essential technical documentation, communicate directly with Vertiv experts, and enjoy support for both 2D and 3D visualisations. With the help of an internal, more advanced version of the VertivTM Modular Designer, experts from Vertiv can improve the initial design and optimize the solution according to site conditions, expected performance, or desired security levels by unlocking additional features.
