Whatsapp has been launching new features as of late to serve its user base better and maintain its market dominance. This most recent release features an instant video message.

WhatsApp’s mobile applications now support instant video messaging. Users will be able to record and send one another up to 60-second-long video messages that may be included in an ongoing conversation.

In only 60 seconds, you may say and display whatever you want in a video message sent in response to a conversation. The WhatsApp team stated today that they believe these will be a “fun way to share moments” with all the emotion that comes with a video, whether that is to wish someone a happy birthday, laugh at a joke, or deliver good news.

WhatsApp’s Instant Video Messages feature, which has been in Beta for some time, is now available to all users both on iOS and Android.

You may now include a video that demonstrates your point in precise detail. Video Messages allow you to record and send live video, adding a new dimension of emotion to your communications.

To record an instant video message or chat, follow these straightforward steps:

To send a video message, WhatsApp users will need to tap the voice message button to switch to video mode and then hold it to record a video. Users can also hold that button and slide upward to engage the lock mode and record video messages hands-free.

Just like voice messages, all video messages sent on WhatsApp are encrypted by default. This will be a gradual rollout, and all WhatsApp users should have access to voice messages in the coming weeks, the WhatsApp team said today.

Starting today, the latest feature is being rolled out and will be accessible to all users in the next weeks.

The new feature’s debut follows WhatsApp’s addition of a slew of improvements to the app in recent months. The corporation has lately implemented a system that automatically mutes calls from blocked or unidentified numbers. It also allowed users to edit their messages for up to 15 minutes after sending them. Furthermore, WhatsApp is said to be working on a feature to include usernames.
