Xylem Africa recently hosted its exclusive partner conference at the Indaba Hotel and Conference Centre in Fourways, Johannesburg. Under the theme “Synchronised,” the conference brought together experts, innovators, and partners in the field to shape the future of water solutions.

The African continent, rich in resources, faces a growing challenge, including ensuring access to clean and reliable water sources. With some of the world’s most water-stressed countries and a burgeoning urban population, the need for innovative water solutions has never been more critical. Addressing these issues is one of the essence of Xylem’s event.

The conference’s theme, “Synchronised,” underscored the connectedness, performance, agility, and precision required to provide lasting water solutions. It also served as a platform for collaboration and innovation, allowing attendees to explore the latest advancements in water management, preservation, and technology.

Chetan Mistry, Strategy and Marketing Manager at Xylem Africa, shared, “This conference has been a great opportunity to explore 360 Performance and showcase our solutions. But it was even more enlightening as a moment where people who solve water problems could gather and connect.”

A Comprehensive Approach to Water Solutions

During the conference, Xylem Africa introduced “360 Performance,” its holistic approach to source-to-tap performance optimization across the entire water cycle. This approach addresses water-related challenges in various sectors, from utilities to mining, agriculture to manufacturing, and commercial to residential. By offering a range of products and expertise, Xylem aims to provide water solutions at every level.

Xylem’s partners, known for their expertise in delivering the best options to customers, are crucial in achieving optimal efficiency and cost performance in water systems. Leveraging market-leading water data and management products, efficient pumps, inspection equipment, and more, Xylem and its partners work together to solve water challenges.

A Conference of Innovation and Knowledge Sharing

The conference featured presentations by leading experts on a wide range of topics, including dewatering methods, innovative water treatment options, water transport improvement, infrastructure modernization, and the use of digital analytics and transformation in water operations.

Attendees also had the opportunity to network, participate in team-building activities, and explore Xylem’s product offerings. A highlight of the conference was the launch of the Godwin BD150 dewatering pump system. Designed for and manufactured in emerging markets, this versatile and efficient system left attendees impressed with its performance and capabilities.

Several other innovative products from Xylem and its global brands were showcased at the event, including the Godwin BD150 Self-Priming Pump, Godwin HL270M High-Pressure Dri-Prime® Pump, Flygt BIBO Alpha, Flygt Pareo, Lowara hydrovar® X, Xylem Nexicon, Xylem Avensor, Sensus Cordonel, YSI 9800 Photometer, and Xylem SAM PRO.

Vincent Chirouze, Xylem Africa’s Managing Director expressed his appreciation to all stakeholders at the event.
