Yellow Card, a prominent pan-African fintech company, has named Kamogelo Mosime as its new country manager for South Africa, marking a significant step in its mission to deepen financial access across the continent.

The appointment follows the company’s successful capital raise, which now totals $85 million after completing a $33 million Series C funding round led by Blockchain Capital. The funding will support Yellow Card’s ongoing expansion and its ambition to build inclusive financial infrastructure across Africa.

Driving financial inclusion and cross-border access

Mosime, a seasoned financial services professional, brings a strong background in investment strategy, corporate finance, and global partnerships. Before joining Yellow Card, he served as an independent partner at MEMP Group, where he focused on business expansion and investor relations. His previous roles include investment and strategic partnership management at Tickmill and corporate finance expertise at STANLIB.

In his own words, Mosime described his new role as more than a job “This is more than just a role for me, it’s a calling. I’ve long believed in Africa’s potential, and this opportunity gives me the platform to drive real change in advancing financial inclusion, enabling cross-border economic participation, and building accessible infrastructure where it’s needed most.”

Yellow Card has emphasised that Mosime is well-positioned to drive the company’s strategic goals in South Africa, where it aims to expand its services and consolidate its growing footprint. With a Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) license secured in South Africa, the company is now better positioned to operate legally and scale its operations there.
