Mulk International, based in the United Arab Emirates, has started construction on the 2.5 million square foot Zimbabwe Cyber City, which is expected to be a game-changer for investors. Zimbabwe is working to develop its economy with the help of foreign investment.

About Zim Cyber City:

Zim Cyber City is a new global investment market unveiled by the President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa. The market is valued at US$500 million.

A high-tech mixed-use park will soon be built on the outskirts of Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. This park will be cutting edge, similar to Dubai. Mulk International, a diversified industrial conglomerate based in the United Arab Emirates, is working on developing this.

Zim Cyber City is currently being built in Mount Hampden, New Harare, and will cover an area that is equivalent to a quarter of a million square feet. In addition to luxurious residential and commercial structures, the master plan for Mount Hampden incorporates the recently finished Parliament Building and all of the Ministry Buildings and other government offices. Many people draw comparisons between this and the developments in Downtown and Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

During President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s trip to the United Arab Emirates for the Dubai World Expo 2020, Mulk International made a pitch for the establishment of Zim Cyber City to him. The President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, is a supporter of the project, and he has given Mulk International an exclusive license to create a blockchain and digital assets special economic zone in Zimbabwe.

Nawab Shaji Ul Mulk, Chairman of Mulk International, expressed his gratitude to the President and the Government of Zimbabwe. He stated, “President H.E. Emmerson Mnangagwa has whole-heartedly supported Mulk International’s first Zimbabwean endeavour.” The first of many investments that our group, Mulk International, has committed to delivering through the special economic status channel of Zimbabwe Global Investments, Zim Cyber City is the first of many investments that we will be delivering.”

“Zim Cyber City will be a one-of-a-kind, iconic development that will offer lavish, uptown living in addition to multiple economic benefits to commercial businesses,”

The master plan for the project consists of a high-security gated community with a health club, community centre, and other facilities in addition to 250 townhouses, more than 80 luxury villas, a number of apartment blocks, hi-tech office facilities, a high-end retail arcade, a 15-storeyed commercial tower, and landscaped gardens. All of these features are contained within the project.

Zim Cyber City will provide all individuals and entities that operate within the community, as well as those who live there, with a special window for the clearance of blockchain and digital assets licenses and bank accounts, as well as state-of-the-art office spaces and luxurious residential living options. In order to provide the highest possible level of safety for the residents, it will come equipped with cutting-edge surveillance technology that constantly monitors the area and is directly connected to the authorities in charge of maintaining order in the area.

“Mulk International has worked diligently to understand the market and gain greater insight into Zimbabwe’s culture and its bountiful opportunities,” said Adnan Ul Mulk, Vice-Chairman of Mulk International. “Mulk International is excited about the prospects of doing business in Zimbabwe.” Zim Cyber City has concrete, long-term growth prospects thanks to the breadth of its resources and the advanced digital capabilities it possesses across all industries.

“We are excited to witness Zim Cyber City’s role in the successful integration of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology with premium, residential living. I would like to express my gratitude to His Excellency Emmerson D. Mnangagwa, the President of Zimbabwe, for providing the unwavering support necessary to turn Zim Cyber City into a project of national importance.
