Call of Duty has partnered with Netflix’s Squid Game to introduce a fresh wave of content for players. The “Squid Game 2: VIPs Tracer Pack,” available in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, allows gamers to embody the luxurious and enigmatic world of the show’s affluent characters, the VIPs.

What’s inside the Squid Game 2’s VIP bundle?

The VIP bundle features two operator skins: the “Panther Mask VIP” and “Lion Mask VIP,” which evoke the grandeur and mystery of the original series. Alongside these skins, players can wield exclusive weapons such as the “Choicest” launcher, “Lacquered” sniper rifle, and the “Satin Slayer” SMG, all designed with premium finishes. Complementing the package are additional cosmetics, including the “Death Plated” frag grenade, a “Gilded” emblem, and a “Very Important Player” loading screen. Players can also showcase their dominance with the stylish finishing move, “Pinky Up.”

Event bundles and pricing

The VIP bundle is priced at 2,400 Call of Duty Points (≈ $20 USD), a centrepiece of a broader Squid Game-themed event. This event also includes other bundles, such as the “Pink Guards Tracer Pack” and the “Young-hee Tracer Pack.” Each offers distinctive operator skins, weapon blueprints, and themed cosmetics. The Pink Guards pack, for instance, features characters like the “Masked Manager,” “Masked Soldier,” and “Masked Worker” for 2,800 Call of Duty Points.

For fans eager to collect every item, there’s a Squid Game Event Pass priced at 1,100 Call of Duty Points. However, acquiring the full range of content for the event requires approximately 8,700 points, equivalent to $87 USD. While the pricing has sparked debate within the gaming community, the crossover represents a unique opportunity for fans of both franchises to immerse themselves in an iconic world.

Beyond the in-game store, players can explore the official Call of Duty blog for more details on the bundles and the event’s offerings. Although these cosmetics don’t affect gameplay performance, they’re compelling for gamers to express their style and fandom.

By bringing the opulent yet sinister essence of Squid Game into Call of Duty, this collaboration redefines how popular media franchises intersect with gaming. Whether you’re a casual player or a collector, the Squid Game 2 bundles offer a rare glimpse into an exclusive universe—one golden mask at a time.
