The event’s four-track conference programme will include 52 talks, panels, and keynote sessions, offering insights into deployment strategies, ethical AI considerations, and emerging global trends. Two plenary keynotes and multiple track keynotes are expected to headline discussions, bringing together thought leaders from Africa and beyond.

Deep Networking and Industry Access

Beyond the exhibition floor, AI Expo Africa is placing strong emphasis on high-value networking. The agenda includes eight curated networking sessions, private CxO roundtables, and investor matchmaking opportunities designed to connect startups with funding partners.

Special zones such as the Startup Zone, R&D Zone, and the Women in AI Pavilion aim to highlight innovation and inclusivity within the ecosystem. Meanwhile, the SA AI Association Pavilion will showcase local industry initiatives, reinforcing South Africa’s role as a regional tech hub.

Attendees will also have access to informal networking spaces like the Meetup Bar and Networking Boma, alongside VIP experiences including a private opening reception and extended evening sessions.

Skills Development and Practical Learning

A major highlight of the 2026 edition is its focus on skills development and practical application. The event will host eight CPD-accredited workshops, each accommodating up to 200 participants, providing hands-on learning in areas such as AI deployment, data analytics, and automation tools.

Live demonstrations across robotics, drones, and smart technologies will offer attendees a close-up view of how AI-driven systems are being applied in sectors ranging from urban planning to logistics. The Robot & Drone Zone and AI TV Media Lounge will further enhance engagement through interactive content and live coverage.

A Global Platform with African Roots

While rooted in Africa, AI Expo Africa 2026 is attracting participants from across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and beyond. Its broad sector coverage—including quantum computing, virtual reality, and SaaS—reflects the expanding scope of AI innovation globally.

As businesses and governments increasingly explore AI-driven solutions, the event underscores Africa’s growing role in shaping the future of intelligent technology. With its blend of enterprise focus, startup energy, and global participation, AI Expo Africa 2026 is poised to deliver one of the continent’s most dynamic tech gatherings of the year.
