Funding and Coaching at the Core
Boost’in Africa offers selected startups access to tailored coaching, strategic mentorship, investor networks, and funding opportunities. According to information published by IMPACT Lab, participating startups may qualify for the Tech Boost honorary loan, which can reach 500,000 Moroccan dirhams per project. Startups holding patented innovations may access up to 750,000 dirhams.
The programme targets Moroccan startups that have moved beyond the minimum viable product stage and already commercialised their solutions. Organisers say the initiative focuses on helping founders strengthen their operations, sharpen their market approach, and improve fundraising readiness.
IMPACT Lab provides personalised guidance from experienced coaches who work directly with founders on business growth challenges. The organisation also offers access to a wider network of investors, experts, and potential business partners across Africa and beyond.
Morocco Expands Startup Support Efforts
The launch comes as Morocco increases efforts to support innovation-driven entrepreneurship. Tamwilcom has recently expanded partnerships with regional and international accelerators to improve access to financing and startup development programmes. Earlier collaborations announced during GITEX Africa included partnerships with accelerator Flat6Labs to support startups operating in sectors such as fintech, agritech, healthcare, artificial intelligence, and clean technology.
Boost’in Africa, however, remains open to startups from all sectors, giving room for founders working across education, commerce, logistics, digital services, and other emerging industries.
According to programme details, eligible startups must be legally registered in Morocco, be less than five years old, and be led by founders residing in the country. Organisers also look for innovation, scalability, and market potential during the selection process.
Long-Term Support for Founders
Beyond the initial training and acceleration phase, Boost’in Africa offers extended follow-up support for participating startups. IMPACT Lab says founders will continue receiving mentorship and targeted business introductions for up to 15 months after the programme ends.
The initiative reflects growing confidence in Morocco’s startup sector as investors and support organisations seek to back local founders with scalable ideas and stronger access to capital. For many early-stage entrepreneurs, Boost’in Africa could provide the structure and financial backing needed to move from local growth to regional expansion.
