Ecobank Uganda held a special meeting with its Small, Medium, and Enterprise clients on Tuesday to reintroduce its banking products for SMEs and have conversations about expanding their businesses.

Customers were able to engage with the bank’s Board Members, EXCOs, relationship managers, and bank managers, exchanging perspectives on important subjects such as daily difficulties, digital adoption, business possibilities, and values.

In his introductory remarks, Ecobank’s Board chair Richard Munyaneza reiterated Ecobank’s dedication to SMEs, saying, “SMEs are the backbone of our economy, and at Ecobank, we are intentional about supporting them. This forum is a testament to our dedication to listening, engaging, and co-creating solutions that truly address your needs.”

Ecobank customers feedback 

Customers offered insightful feedback during group conversations, which will influence how the bank improve its products.

“From this feedback, we will develop action points and solutions, especially in digital banking, women-led businesses, and support for upcoming enterprises. We have taken this feedback to heart and are committed to serving our customers and growing with them,” Elizabeth Mwerinde Kasedde Head of Commercial Banking assured.

Duncan Kanyerezi, an SME customer, shared, “The event was a success. Our feedback has been received with a welcoming heart, and we are confident that Ecobank will provide the right services for our businesses.”

Muliisa Grace, Ecobank’s Managing Director, concluded with a resolute statement, “We truly appreciate your time and honesty in sharing your feedback. Every insight you’ve given is valuable, helping us refine our services to better serve you. At Ecobank, our relationship with you is a priority. Your trust drives us to continuously improve, ensuring that we always step into our customers’ shoes to deliver excellence.”
