Foras.AI, the innovation and investment platform led by entrepreneur Mohamed Aboulnaga Nagaty, announced the investment on Wednesday, in a move aimed at expanding access to practical AI education across the Arab world.
The platform is scheduled to launch at the end of Q3 2026 and will offer more than 100 lessons delivered entirely in colloquial Egyptian Arabic.
Foras.AI CEO Nagaty explained the motivation behind the investment in a statement:
“We are living through the most important technological shift of our generation. And for the first time in history, the Arab world has the chance to be builders in that shift, not just consumers of it. When I saw what NixAI was building with Efham.ai, the decision to invest was immediate,” said Mohamed Aboulnaga Nagaty, CEO of Foras.AI.
Arabic AI Education Platform Targets 400 Million Speakers
Efham.ai provides AI education in Arabic, using Egyptian colloquial Arabic to simplify technical concepts while helping users apply AI tools in content creation, product development, entrepreneurship, fundraising, and building new AI-powered income streams.
The platform was created by NixAI, an Egyptian AI venture studio founded by entrepreneur Ahmed Nagy. The idea emerged after the team observed that many aspiring learners struggled to access AI education that felt natural, practical, and culturally relevant in Arabic.
According to the company, Efham.ai is targeting more than 400 million Arabic speakers and plans to launch across over 15 countries in the region, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and Jordan.
NixAI Builds Arabic AI Learning Community for the Arab World
Efham.ai describes itself as a full-stack AI learning community rather than a traditional educational program, with a focus on helping users develop practical, job-ready AI skills.
Foras.AI’s investment reflects a broader trend toward supporting startups that localize technical knowledge and deliver practical educational solutions tailored to Arabic-speaking audiences, rather than relying on translated global content that often strips away cultural and linguistic nuance.
