Snapplify, One of the leading global edtech companies, has launched its Teacha! brand in East Africa, making thousands of teaching resources immediately available to teachers

With Teacha! resource marketplace, teachers can buy and sell their teaching resources online, which includes downloadable lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, interactive lessons, assessments, summaries, flashcards, posters, clip art, book covers, and planners. Many of these resources are also available for free download and usage by other teachers.

Lilian Nyaranga, a Teacha!’s user, says, “There is a great need for CBC resources in Kenya at the moment, and this is an enormous opportunity – not only for Kenya’s teachers to sell resources they’ve already created and earn extra income but also for thousands of teachers to find the curriculum-aligned resources they need.

According to the Teacha! Founder Jean Vermeulen, “Teacha! is already the home of the largest community of teachers in Africa, and we’re thrilled to be supporting more Kenyan teachers with key teaching resources.”

“Teacha! provides an opportunity for the Kenyan teacher to be part of a community that molds and inspires best practices. It also allows them to showcase and earn from the resources created. Teacha! is a game-changer,” said Maxwell V. Kayesi HSC, Innovative Teacher of the Year winner, speaking at the official launch event this month.

Snapplify recently announced that it’s investing extensively in the region and the debut of Teacha! coincides with the news. Since 2016, the edtech company has gained significant traction in Kenya. Its growing Kenyan staff adds a plethora of industry experience to the table, supporting the company’s commitment to increasing educational opportunities and access.
