The newly announced OpenAI Partner Network aims to help organisations move beyond AI experimentation and deploy practical solutions at scale.
This initiative is a major step in OpenAI’s enterprise strategy as demand for AI tools that can be integrated into day-to-day business operations grows. OpenAI says the programme will support partners in building, selling, and delivering solutions powered by its AI technologies.
A Global Ecosystem for AI Deployment
According to OpenAI, the new network will bring together consulting firms, system integrators, software providers, and data companies to help customers unlock value from AI.
The company noted that many organisations no longer face challenges around access to AI models, but instead struggle with implementation, workflow integration, and organisational adoption.
Partners will work with customers to identify suitable use cases, connect AI systems to existing data and software platforms, redesign workflows, and support employee adoption. OpenAI plans to provide technical resources, training, certifications, and access to expertise that will enable partners to deliver AI solutions more effectively.
The programme introduces three partner tiers: Select, Advanced, and Elite. These levels will be based on factors such as technical capability, customer success, deployment experience, and business performance. Partners can also earn specialised credentials in areas including cybersecurity, AI agents, and Codex-related services.
$150 Million Investment and Consultant Training
OpenAI has committed $150 million to support the development of the partner ecosystem. The company also aims to train and certify 300,000 consultants worldwide by the end of 2026, creating a large workforce capable of supporting enterprise AI deployments.
The investment reflects OpenAI’s belief that successful AI adoption depends not only on advanced models but also on skilled professionals who can integrate the technology into real business processes.
The company is also testing a Forward Deployed Experts programme, which will give selected partner teams deeper access to OpenAI’s deployment knowledge and technical expertise.
Building on Existing Enterprise Partnerships
The launch builds on OpenAI’s broader enterprise efforts, including partnerships with leading consulting firms such as Accenture, Capgemini, Boston Consulting Group, and McKinsey & Company. Earlier this year, OpenAI announced collaborations with these organisations to help businesses deploy AI solutions across their operations.
By expanding its partner ecosystem, OpenAI is positioning itself to meet growing enterprise demand for AI implementation services. As organisations look for practical ways to deploy AI across departments, the company is betting that a strong global partner network will help connect advanced technology with real-world business results.
