Users can perform daily transactions, including cash withdrawals and online purchases while managing their finances through a dedicated mobile app.

Mohamed Rabea, PayMint’s Managing Director and Founder, expressed pride in this collaboration, stating, “We aim to offer a new and unique experience for our customers that aligns with our mission to provide accessible financial services to everyone”.

This partnership supports individual users and contributes to broader financial inclusion efforts in Egypt.

The Central Bank of Egypt has been advocating for reducing cash reliance, and this prepaid card is a step towards achieving that goal.

ADIB’s CEO, Mohamed Ali, emphasised the importance of integrating advanced technology into banking solutions, highlighting that this card will cater to the needs of both individual and business customers.

A step towards digital transformation

The Meeza card is anticipated to gain significant user acceptance as digital solutions become increasingly essential for everyday transactions.

Amr Sand from ADIB noted that the card’s launch reflects the bank’s commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction through innovative financial products. “We are confident that this card will be widely embraced by customers,” he stated.

The Meeza prepaid card marks a key development in PayMint’s mission to offer complete financial services, with ADIB collaboration enhancing its role in Egypt’s fintech ecosystem.

As consumers seek secure payment options, this initiative is vital for a digital economy that benefits all Egyptians.
