Telecel Ghana has won six awards for its outstanding work in broadband access innovation, digital change, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and the creation of new products.
The National Communications Awards (NCAs) named Patricia Obo-Nai, Telecel Ghana’s CEO, the Telecom CEO of the Year and Juliana Ametorwogo, Telecel Ghana’s President of Women in Technology, the Outstanding Woman in Technology.

Telecel Ghana’s CEO remark
Ms Obo-Nai appreciated the telco’s numerous awards that evening and acknowledged her leadership.
“We are thrilled to receive these awards, which demonstrate Telecel’s dedication to technological innovation, social good and our unwavering focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences,” she stated.
“These achievements are a testament to our employees’ hard work and talents.”
The other awards include Digital Transformation Team of the Year (Silver Category), CSR Campaign of the Year – Foundation’s Connected Health Initiatives, Innovative Product of the Year – Edamu Promo and Access Innovation Award (Broadband Connectivity) – Fixed Broadband.
The awards were given at the 6th annual NCAs – Digital Future Edition, which took place at the Marriott Hotel in Accra. They demonstrated Telecel Ghana’s dedication to advancing the telecom sector and having a significant positive social impact.
