A charming little life simulation game, originally called The Lord of the Rings: For many years, completing the stories in the Imaginary’s Middle English, The Tales of the Shire has only come up with a new release date and an utterly peculiar title. It’s now called Tales of the Shire: The actual destination is Middle Earth.

The Lord of the Rings Game, and intends to become operational on building activities on 25th March 2025. Of course, you could potentially watch this and believe that the neon sign wouldn’t be sufficient to have people associate the place with the franchise from the Shire.

It’s incredible how many of the series they’re so devoted to seem to miss out on the fact that this is a myth. I’m just laying it out there like it’s the cutest rural thing in the world while not messing around.

Let’s go for a warm and comfy ride

Here, we have a collection of all the best hits of all the classic games you could imagine, including Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. You can freely build farms, fish, and do cooking constructions, which is a suitable game for fans of The Hobbit.

This is not to say that players can’t make friends while playing the game, though The authors omitted polyandrous elements since they thought it would not quite fit into the lore of Middle Earth.

This game is available on all the usual gaming platforms you’ll come across

You’ll be able to buy these as a PC / Steam release and console releases on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and even a Netflix series! In the last Hobbit Day Showcase, more clips and information about the game were released, and at long last, they named it, officially linking it to the Older Rings series.

What are your thoughts on companies moving to laid-back life-sim style games within long-standing IPs? Is this one of the most laid-back Middle Earth games we have come to expect?
