Leading technology business, Tuma Enterprises collaborated with South Korea’s Vision Group to deepen worldwide economic collaboration, with parties from both entities signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on November 1.

Chairman Dae-Yong Han led the delegation from South Korea’s Vision Group while CEO Arnold Badio led the team in Tuma to sign the MoU.

This MoU is focused on integration and collaboration that will ensure that African and worldwide markets develop future-oriented corporate models. The collaboration seeks to combine expertise of the two companies in developing the technological landscape of Liberia, West Africa and the African continent at large.

Additionally, Vision Group specialises in app development, artificial intelligence-driven smart farming, telecommunication, and renewable energy solutions. With a solid global network and presence in core markets such as Europe, China, India, Russia and Middle East, the company views the partnership as a means of enhancing its commercial development in Africa.

Working with Tuma Enterprises is seen as a means of having a strong entrance into the African market. They intend to provide smart solutions and creative business models.

The main goal of our cooperation is to make reasonably priced, premium cell phones generally accessible all throughout Africa.

Together with Vision Group, Tuma intends to increase smartphone output to offer underprivileged African communities a digital lifeline.

The two businesses want to create affordable smartphone models for mass manufacturing to avail the African population with digital tools that can be accessed without any hassle. The mobile phones will be optimised for steady, dependable usage in both urban and rural locations with features catered to local conditions. Identified features include security, low-speed network compatibility, increased battery life. This collaboration is expected to bridge the digital gap in Africa as smartphone usage expands in Africa.

“This collaboration with Tuma Enterprises is an important opportunity for Vision Group to expand its platform and technology into the African market, said Chairman Han. We will continue to provide tailored solutions that meet local needs, leading the growth of Africa’s technology industry in partnership with Tuma Enterprises.”

To guarantee easy access to products and assistance, both businesses also plan to build local after-sales service centres and a distribution network.

This collaboration will generate local jobs and strengthen regional economies while offering on-site technical assistance and customer care for maximum client satisfaction.
