Enhancing E-Commerce transactions

The rebranding from WigWag to Stitch Express is designed to provide a next-generation solution for e-commerce payments. The focus is on speed, simplicity, and high conversion rates, making it easier for merchants to manage online transactions.

Stitch Express is tailored for various e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, WooCommerce, and Squarespace, ensuring businesses can access optimised payment options.

Danielle Laity, Head of Product at Stitch, stated, “Stitch Express has been designed with the specific needs of e-commerce merchants in mind. It combines what we learned and developed at WigWag with the deep expertise, technical reliability and fast-paced growth of the Stitch platform to bring both worlds closer together”.

Strategic move back under Stitch

WigWag, spun off from Stitch in September 2023, was created to serve smaller merchants seeking to accept online payments.

However, the company has seen significant growth in its client base and developed a robust portfolio of payment solutions during its independent operation. The decision to rejoin Stitch as Stitch Express allows for enhanced support and resources for e-commerce businesses.

The integration under the Stitch umbrella is expected to bolster the capabilities of Stitch Express significantly. “Today, we are excited to announce that WigWag will rejoin Stitch through Stitch Express,” said Laity. This strategic move signifies a return and emphasises the commitment to improving digital payment experiences across various sectors.

With this rebranding effort, Stitch Express is poised to become a vital player in the e-commerce payment space, focusing on delivering high-quality service and innovative solutions tailored specifically for online merchants. This initiative proactively addresses the growing demand for efficient payment solutions in e-commerce.
