The fellowship focuses on four priority groups: startups building for learners living with disabilities; solutions addressing internally displaced persons and underserved or rural communities; innovations targeting young girls and women; and teams developing national and subnational education data systems that inform real decisions.

The programme runs for 18 months. The first 12 months provide an incubation period, covering learning science, human-centred design, user research, and on-the-ground product testing. The final six months shift focus to scaling through go-to-market strategies, investment readiness, distribution partnerships, and branding support.

Up to 12 startups will be selected, each receiving $100,000 in equity-free funding, along with expert mentorship, technical guidance, ecosystem connections, and real-world implementation opportunities.

How to Apply

To qualify, applicants must be legally registered in Nigeria with physical presence and majority Nigerian ownership, present a prototype or minimum viable product with evidence of early user testing, maintain an inclusive team composition and gender balance, and align with one of the four focus areas.

Applications are open until April 10, 2026. Founders must complete the online form via the official portal, providing full details on startup background, solution, pilot locations, intended outcomes, and timeline. Apply directly through the CcHUB Future of Learning portal at futureoflearning.cchub.africa/cohort-4.
