AkadaPlay, a brand-new technological platform created to recognise and honour academic achievement, has launched an initiative to motivate and honour exceptional students throughout Nigeria. This statement was revealed by the firm on Sunday.
To identify high-achieving students and link them to performance-based incentives supported by local and international institutions and individuals, the platform compiles data from primary and secondary schools across the country.

Aims to achieve Sustainable Development Goals
AkadaPlay particularly aims to achieve SDG 4, which is concerned with guaranteeing accessible and equitable quality education, in accordance with the UN’s call for groups to incorporate the Sustainable Development Goals into its activities.
The platform aims to promote long-term improvement in Nigeria’s educational system by giving organisations the ability to more efficiently distribute resources.
The founder of AkadaPlay, Babatunde Adenaike, shared, “Our goal for the 2024/25 academic year is to deliver 10,000 academic rewards. The platform’s commitment to advancing educational diversity and excellence is further demonstrated by its goal of working with over 1,000 schools by September 2025 and its complete compliance with the Nigerian Data Protection Regulation.
