The ministry has invited interested applicants to register for the second phase through its online application portal at emys.gov.eg.

Early-stage entrepreneurs often require more than capital to turn ideas into viable businesses. Through a mix of funding, mentorship, and incubation services, the programme aims to support the development of scalable and market-ready ventures.

Build-Up From First Startup Cohort

Projects submitted will go through an evaluation process, with the strongest ideas selected for funding and incubation support.

The initiative builds on its first edition, where a judging committee convened at the Youth Innovation and Education Center in Gezira, with representatives from the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation in attendance.

From that cohort, 10 startups were selected for funding and incubation support lasting up to nine months.

By targeting participants across multiple governorates, the programme aims to widen access to entrepreneurship opportunities and deepen youth participation in innovation-driven ventures.

Selected projects from the second phase will move into incubation following evaluation, as applicants compete for a place in the programme’s next startup cohort.
