A major highlight of the day was the grand finale of the maiden Technovate Challenge, where university students, budding innovators, and startups presented their AI-enabled solutions to real-world African problems before a panel of judges and investors. The competition showcased the depth of homegrown talent and reinforced Technovate Fest 2024’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of African tech leaders.

The event also featured a dedicated startup showcase, giving emerging tech companies a platform to present their products, attract investment, and receive feedback from industry experts, further cementing Technovate Fest 2024 as a launchpad for Africa’s most promising innovations.

Keynote speeches, workshops, and panel sessions rounded out the programme, with industry leaders sharing strategies on how AI can drive economic resilience and empower communities across Africa.
