Affordable vehicles for local needs

Yango Motors will act as the official distributor for Chinese car brands Bestune and Kaiyi, offering vehicles designed to be affordable, dependable, and suitable for local road conditions.

The company plans to combine competitive pricing with flexible financing options by partnering with local banks and leasing companies to make car ownership more accessible to a broader population. Customers will receive complete after-sales services, including a steady spare parts supply to guarantee dependability.

The action capitalises on Côte d’Ivoire’s expanding new automobile industry, which had 24,633 new cars registered in 2024, thanks to a strong economy and government initiatives that supported selling new vehicles.

Yango’s broader African mobility strategy

This launch is a component of Yango Group’s overarching strategy to further integrate into the continent’s mobility ecosystem by expanding beyond its digital ride-hailing and delivery services in Africa.

Yango Group oversees operations in 16 countries through its African headquarters, a regional office in Abidjan.

The strategy is centred on developing mobility and transport solutions specifically designed for African markets and driven by technology.

CEO Daniil Shuleyko highlighted, “This new regional office in Abidjan is a new chapter in our journey across Africa. Our strategy is to build digital ecosystems that empower countries from within — using global technologies, but always rooted in local realities”.

Yango Motors’ debut in Côte d’Ivoire signals a transformative step towards accessible and innovative mobility solutions on the African continent, combining technology, affordability, and local relevance in ways that promise to reshape how people move.
