This new digital platform aims to modernise the administration of various services. By using this tool, the regulator hopes to improve the effectiveness of its processes and the calibre of their dealings with participants in the postal and electronic communications industries.

By 2027, the ICT sector in Algeria hopes to contribute close to 7 per cent of the country’s GDP. Making administrative services digital is important because of the rise of digital technology, which helps update regulations and support the growth of the industry.

What the e-Services platform do

The e-Services platform, which is accessible at https://esvc.arpce.dz, enables users to submit, monitor, and handle their requests online without having to travel.

To shorten processing times, enhance file traceability, and increase procedure transparency, it centralises a number of administrative processes associated with the activities governed by the ARPCE.

The solution, which is a digital one-stop shop, attempts to simplify communication between professionals and the authority while maintaining the security of the data being transferred.

Improvement of public administration via e-Services

The dematerialisation of services has emerged as a key tool for enhancing governance in Algerian public administrations’ digital transformation process, which includes the launch of this platform.

The digitalisation of trade is a particularly strategic issue because the postal and electronic communications sector, which unites numerous operators and regulated players, generates a significant volume of requests each year pertaining to authorisations, declarations, and regulatory obligations.

Goal of e-Services

The ultimate goal of the e-Services platform is to increase ARPCE’s administrative effectiveness by making it easier for operators and other industry participants to access its regulatory services. Dematerialising processes should improve ARPCE’s transparency and responsiveness to the demands of a quickly changing digital environment while cutting down on administrative burdens and delays.
