Paystack announced the Paystack Small Business Programme in a statement on Monday, describing it as part of its effort to strengthen the operational capacity of merchants using its platform.
Paystack Small Business Bundle Provides Up to ₦4 Million in Business Benefits
At the centre of the initiative is the Paystack Small Business Bundle, which offers a range of discounted services from 14 partner companies valued at up to ₦4 million per eligible business.
The partner ecosystem covers key areas of small business operations, including online store management via Bumpa, bookkeeping services through Simplebks, logistics support from FezDelivery, communication tools from Pressone, workspace mobility via Shuttlers, and creative design resources from Canva, among others.
Paystack said the programme was designed in response to the operational pressures faced by small businesses in Nigeria, including challenges related to sales tracking, customer acquisition, delivery logistics, and access to affordable digital tools.
In its first phase, the bundle will be available to 2,000 Nigerian small and medium-sized businesses. To qualify, merchants must maintain an active Paystack account, have processed at least 10 transactions within the past 30 days, and be based in Nigeria. The company also indicated that additional partner offers may be added over time.
Paystack Launchpad and Grant Scheme Target High-Growth SMEs
Beyond the discount bundle, the Paystack Small Business Launchpad will provide tailored, hands-on support to help selected high-potential businesses optimise their use of Paystack’s infrastructure and scale more effectively.
In addition, the Paystack Small Business Grant will offer financial assistance to qualifying businesses to support expansion and operational growth.
Interested merchants can access the Small Business Bundle portal to review available offers, submit business information, and receive instructions for redemption after eligibility verification.
Paystack Strengthens Push Into SME Financing and Business Growth
The new programme builds on Paystack’s growing focus on small business services. The company currently processes payments for approximately 300,000 Nigerian businesses, giving it significant insight into merchant activity and performance trends.
Nigeria’s small business financing gap is estimated at around $32 billion, highlighting both the scale of unmet demand and the opportunity within the SME sector.
Earlier in the year, Paystack acquired Ladder Microfinance Bank, which has since been rebranded as Paystack Microfinance Bank. Through this arm, the company now offers working capital loans, merchant cash advances, overdraft facilities, and broader banking-as-a-service solutions.
For many Nigerian entrepreneurs facing rising costs and tight margins, the new initiative signals Paystack’s transition from a payments provider to a more comprehensive business support partner within the SME ecosystem.
